Hey, I'm Hao
I'm a developer who fell in love with game development the moment I first opened Unreal Engine. That initial curiosity has since evolved into a 5-year career dedicated to building experiences that players truly enjoy navigating.
Currently, I am at Ather Labs, where I serve as an Unreal UI Engineer. I architected a scalable UI system using MVVM and Common UI for cross-platform support, crafting responsive interfaces in UMG, and integrating real-time server APIs to power dynamic gameplay.
Before my time at Ather, I worked with Dreamchasers Interactive on immersive installations, creating everything from digital aquariums to interactive theme park games. Using Unreal Niagara for visual polish and Python for hardware integration, I learned that great UX isn't just about screens; it's about creating "moments."
I thrive on solving complex technical challenges and am currently looking for remote opportunities with teams building something meaningful. Let's build something great together.
